1 About zerolate
zerolate is a financial management application designed to help users track credit cards, statements, payments, reminders, and related financial information.
zerolate is intended for users in Sri Lanka only.

2 Eligibility
To use zerolate, you must:
- Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Use the Service only in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms
If you create an account on behalf of someone else, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
3 Your Account
You are responsible for your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate account information
- Keep your password and device secure
- Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4 Use of the Service
You may use zerolate only for lawful personal use related to managing your own financial information.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
- Reverse engineer, copy, scrape, or exploit the Service except as permitted by law
- Upload malicious code, harmful files, or content designed to damage the Service
- Use zerolate to store or process data you do not have the right to use
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you are violating these Terms.
5 Financial Information and User Responsibility
zerolate is a tool to help you organize and review financial information. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter, upload, or review in the Service.
You understand and agree that:
- zerolate does not issue credit cards or financial products
- zerolate does not act as a bank, lender, broker, insurer, or financial institution
- zerolate does not guarantee payment outcomes, due date accuracy, or statement accuracy
- You remain solely responsible for verifying amounts, dates, balances, and obligations with your card issuer or financial institution
zerolate is provided for informational and organizational purposes only. It does not constitute financial, legal, tax, or credit advice.
6 AI-Assisted Features
zerolate may provide AI-assisted features, including statement extraction and structured parsing of uploaded statement content.
By using these features, you acknowledge that:
- AI-generated outputs may contain errors, omissions, or misclassifications
- Extracted statement information should always be reviewed by you before relying on it
- zerolate does not guarantee that AI outputs are complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose
You remain responsible for reviewing and validating all extracted or generated information.
7 Notifications and Reminders
zerolate may offer push notifications, email reminders, and payment reminder features.
These reminders are provided as a convenience only. You acknowledge that:
- Reminders may be delayed, interrupted, or fail to deliver
- zerolate does not guarantee that any notification or reminder will be received on time or at all
- You remain solely responsible for monitoring your card statements, due dates, and payments
Missing or delayed reminders do not create liability for zerolate.
8 Data and Content You Provide
You retain responsibility for the data, documents, images, and other content you upload or enter into zerolate.
You represent that:
- You own the content you upload, or have the right to use it
- Your content does not violate any law or third-party rights
- Your content does not contain malicious or harmful material
You grant zerolate the limited rights necessary to host, process, store, sync, and display your content solely to operate the Service.
9 Privacy
Your use of zerolate is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully.
10 Availability and Changes
We may update, improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may also change features, integrations, or supported providers over time.
11 Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the Service and user data. However, no system is completely secure.
You are responsible for:
- Securing your device
- Keeping your credentials confidential
- Enabling available security features such as PIN, biometrics, or app lock where appropriate
12 Intellectual Property
The Service, including its branding, design, software, content structure, and related materials, is owned by or licensed to zerolate and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not give you ownership of the Service or any rights to use our name, logo, branding, code, or materials except as necessary for permitted use of the Service.
13 Feedback
If you send us suggestions, feedback, or ideas about zerolate, you agree that we may use them without restriction or compensation to you.
14 Termination
You may stop using zerolate at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
- You violate these Terms
- We reasonably believe your use creates risk, harm, or legal exposure
- Required by law or service limitations
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.
15 Account Deletion
zerolate allows in-app account deletion.
If you delete your account, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and system retention rules. Some deletion actions may take a limited amount of time to fully propagate through backend systems.
16 Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, zerolate disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of:
- Merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy
- Reliability
- Availability
We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Data will never be lost
- Reminders will always be delivered
- AI extraction results will be accurate
- The Service is suitable for your specific financial, legal, tax, or business needs
17 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, zerolate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, missed payments, financial losses, or business interruption arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, zerolate's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to zerolate for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or LKR 10,000, whichever is greater.
If you use zerolate for free, zerolate's liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
18 Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless zerolate from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of:
- Your misuse of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any law or third-party rights
- Content or data you submit to the Service
19 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Sri Lanka, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the applicable courts or legal processes of Sri Lanka, unless otherwise required by law.
20 Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of zerolate after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
